Cade and I headed up to Syracuse last night to see The Backyardigans LIVE! Tale of the Mighty Knights. We thought it would be fun to do something special individually with each child (an idea stolen from Jon & Kate Plus 8 heh) and this was a good pick for Cade. At first he was his usual reserved and moody self, but after a few acts he was grinning and singing along and couldn't wait for intermission to be over! He had such a great time, it was great getting out together (and I have to say, moms of one have it SO easy!! ^_~) When it was over he momentarily forgot we weren't watching TV and said, "Let's play it again!" Hehehe too cute! No pictures were allowed inside the theatre unfortunately but we did come away with a magic light-up wand (and one for Parker of course), a souvenir plate and a t-shirt!
